At Poole Joinery, we are taking the health, safety, and well-being of our team very seriously and, as we are now returning to work following the Covid-19 lockdown, we have adapted our operating procedures.
What we are doing to keep you safe
We are proud to be a large part of our local community, and that means that all of our team have happily agreed to strictly follow our new safety guidelines to protect others. When arriving at your home, our team will ensure that they maintain a 2-metre distance from you and your family at all times. We are aware that this may be difficult in some situations and so have also provided our team with additional PPE. Alongside their usual protective equipment, our team will also be using face masks and gloves. Our team will also be regularly washing their hands using anti-bacterial gel.
If a member of our team does become ill, or a member of their family shows symptoms, they will self isolate for two weeks, which is the current time that the Government recommends. We will make sure your appointment is covered by another member of staff.
We know, as our customers are extremely generous, that you will want to offer our team members a cup of tea. However, to limit cross-contamination, we have asked our team to bring their own food and drink to work. (We will let you know immediately when the tea and biscuits can once again be brought out!)
You can help our team!
To continue to provide a safe and responsible service, we must ask our customers for their help and support. For the safety of our team and other customers, if you or a member of your family have shown symptoms in the last 2 weeks, then it is important that you let us know as soon as possible. We will happily rearrange your installation project to another time! Please also let us know whether you live with anyone vulnerable, such as someone over 70, or someone with an ongoing condition that may affect their health. If needed, we can take additional safety precautions or delay the project until later in the year.
By leaving internal doors open you can help limit the amount of contact our team has with your door handles. Please also inform our team of any busy spaces in your home, such as stairs and corridors, or rooms where children/elderly relatives may be in, to help minimise movement in those areas.
We know that each household is different, and you may be taking additional safety precautions. Please make sure to let us know whether there is anything extra that we can do to help you during your installation. We are always happy going the extra mile!
